The Backstreet Boys (13h 34min, dec 9, 2018 y – 12h 59min, may 23, 2024 y)

Description:

The Backstreet Boys is a group founded and lead by digandbuilder and iMems after digandbuilder was banned from the Astral Order and iMems left. The name and ranks of the group are roadman themed (look in the urban dictionary if you don't know what a roadman is), the group builds bases, sometimes pvp at spawn and build concentration camps where the group enslaves newfags and digandbulder (or DigMC) streams it. The group do not get into beef with other groups for no reason and tend to stay neutral with other groups unless the group happens to be called the Astral Order.

A player by the name of digandbuilder (or simply just dig) would join the Astral Order roughly a month after joining 2b2t in april 2018 two years after watching TheCampingRusher's series on 2b2t. Dig would build bases for the Astral Order as well as do tasks set out for him by the council, such as trying to get newer players to join their group in order to get more members through making "shrines" at spawn. Eventually dig was promoted to an Astral member giving him access to actual bases, the first base he had access to he did not contribute that greatly to as there was a base being built by Stadhounder (an Astral leader). The base grew as members in the group saw images of it and how nice it looked, dig and two other players named iMems and WitBlue (who will be important later on) built a huge chicken farm together that produced eggs quickly, this would be the first sparks that would later begin the Backstreet Boys.

Things seemed to be going well in the Astral Order until the player WitBlue was kicked after leaking the same Astral base where he, dig and iMems built at as well as many others. Jay and Galvtron were trying to look for excuses to kick dig from the group, this created two sides in the Astral Order having different ideologies to one another. In September 2018, dig, iMems and some other players decided to make a concentration camp at spawn, this would later become a big group tradition in the Backstreet Boys not long after. This became successful and a group was created called "The Camps" for the purpose of catching new players and forcing them to do work at the concentration camp with dig streaming on his DIGMC channel. At around this time the Astral Order had hit a decline and the group was in turmoil and the two players by the name of Galavtron and Jay wanted to put the blame on someone, and since Digandbuilder and iMems had recently made The Camps which was controversial in The Astral Order because of the edgy nature of a concentration camp. Galvatron and Jay chose to start blaming the decline on them because "They brought a bad light to the team" but for another week or so nothing really happened because of iMems still being council and Digandbuilder being respected by most members.

A group was created by a player called Gambino called the Democratic Republic of 2b2t which the Astral Order became interested in and got an Astral member to be president of, dig was a candidate for all presidential elections in the group and when Galvatron would make an announcement asking everyone to vote for Astral members taking part, he didn't mention dig which annoyed him and so Dig leaked screenshots of Galvatron telling Astral members to vote for him. Galvatron took offence and this caused arguing amongst the council, it was decided that Digandbuilder was going to get trialed for he's actions. the same day that it was agreed upon that Digandbuilder was going to get hold for trail, iMems and Digandbuilder started to riot and spammed #JusticeForDig, This later lead to a huge argument in vc about the state of the Astral Order and how over sensitive it was, This lead to iMems leaving out of anger and later Digandbuilder getting kicked.

Now that iMems, Digandbuilder and Witblue had no place to go they agreed to form a team called The Backstreet Boys, They didn't do much before the end of the Incursion. a bit after the end of the Incursion Witblue announced that he would be focusing on other things then 2b2t for a while and left the group (He would later join back), the group started becoming bigger during November, December and the start of 2019. The Backstreet Boys is still a relatively small group.


Since the creation of the Backstreet Boys a supposed "war" has been going between the Backstreet Boys and the Astral Order. The two groups both hold a disliking towards one another due to the actions of jay and Galvatron. The war between these two groups is quite peaceful and not even that much of a war at all, they have both griefed each other and have done some damage to one another. In December 2018, a player called Ethan5914 (a friend of iMems from the 7th Incursion) found an Astral base for lower ranking members and sent coordinates to iMems and dig. Dig streamed at spawn and in that stream, him and a few others including iMems and Ethan went there and players named SteamPunk and DanThePokemario spotted them and reported it to the Astral council but as DanThePokemario was also in the Backstreet Boys and he had coordinates to their base too. DanThePokemario was kicked out of the group as a precaution, but he was annoyed at this so he leaked coords to the group's base. The Astral base leaked by Ethan and the Backstreet base leaked by DanThePokemario were both griefed, In retaliation to the Backstreet Boys spawn base getting griefed, iMems, Opwolfy and Cityboss1 went and griefed the Astral Order's main base. The Astral Order currently has not recovered from this still and is in a long state of repair, it is unknown if the Astral Order will disband in the future or not. The Astral Order and the Backstreet Boys no longer consider each other as enemies after Galvatron's departure and are now neutral.
