Berlin Blockade and Airlift (jun 15, 1948 – may 12, 1949)
Description:
The Soviets tried to restrict access to Berlin by Western powers also occupying Berlin. The Soviets were using this blockade to try and drive the other countries out of Berlin, but ultimately Britain, France, and the US supplied resources to Berlin from the air.
