Fall of the Berlin Wall (nov 1, 1991 – nov 30, 1991)
Description:
In 1989, near the end of the Cold War, with the thawing of relations between the US and the USSR, East Germany announced an easing of travel restrictions to the west. Thousands of people were allowed to move from East Berlin to West Berlin. And soon, many would bring chisels and begin chipping away at the wall. In the following months, East Germany and West Germany would finally be reunited. This is a blue victory, as it would result in the collapse of East Germany, and communism in Germany.
