The Caroline War (jun 25, 1369 – mar 26, 1389)
Description:
As taxes were raising, so did tension. The Black Prince (King Edward IV) had to heavily tax his subjects to pay back a debt, and they started to ally with French King, King Charles. In May, 1369, King Charles requested The Black Prince's company in Paris, and the Prince declined. This act of disrespect was challenged with war. This war was continued until the second generation decided to make peace.
