The Edwardian War (jun 25, 1337 – jun 25, 1360)

Description:

This war was the first section of the Hundred Years' War. England was angered at France after their former ally sided with England's enemy, Scotland. England was very successful throughout their campaign, eventually capturing France's king John ll, and holding him for ransom. A truce came soon after, granting peace for 12 years.
