Description:

The Vietnam War was a war against the communist North Vietnam against the capitalist South Vietnam and its ally, the United States. 3 million people died in this war between November 1, 1955 and April 20, 1975. The American home front turned against the war, so eventually the US pulled out. The Americans called the war a stalemate, but they really lost to North Vietnam. It is marked red because the cause of communism was advanced while the cause of capitalism faced a setback.
