Description:
A Neolithic Village off the Northern Coast of Scotland in the Orkney Islands.Discovered in 1850, the settlement was dated to the Neolithic Period using carbon dating. This village shows early sedentary living, agriculture (primarily barley and wheat which was used to make bread).
