Description:
Forrest Gump was sent to the Watergate Hotel per Nixon’s orders when him and his pingpong team were invited to the White House. During his stay at the hotel on June 17th, 1972, Forrest first hand witnessed the break in which was happening right across from his hotel room. He calls up security and describes the incident as “The lights are off and they must be looking for a fuse box or something cause them flashlights, they’re keeping me awake.” Little did Forrest know that those 5 men weren’t looking for a fuse box, but looking for a way into the office to bug the phones.Added to timeline:
