The Vietnam War (nov 1, 1955 – apr 30, 1975)
Description:
After his graduation, Forrest is approached by an army recruiter to fight for the Vietnam War. He is then trained, and gets sent off to Vietnam to fight for a few years under Lieutenant Dan. During his time, his platoon is attacked and Forrest ends up saving many of his fellow comrades even when he was shot in the buttocks. It is unknown exactly when Forrest serves in Vietnam. However, it was for sure somewhere between the time period of July 1963 - September 1967.Added to timeline:
