Description:

On June 11th, 1963, at the University of Alabama, where Forrest Gump attended, Governor George Wallace blocked the entrance of the door of two black students from entering the building to keep his promise on segregation. In response to Wallace, President Kennedy ordered the Secretary of Defense to use military force to be used if the students weren’t allowed entry. A curious and confused Forrest Gump was caught in the view of the camera’s and picked up one of the students, Vivian Malone’s book.
