Description:
The Mexican American War starts as a result of a border dispute between Texas and Mexico going violent, all caused by President Polk's expansionist policies. The United States crushes the Mexican military with relative ease, and negotiates a highly favorable treaty with Mexico in which the United States acquired all Mexican land north of Texas reaching to the Pacific Ocean.
