International Outbreak of SARS (feb 28, 2003 – jun 15, 2003)
Description:
Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) is a viral respiratory illness that targeted the lungs and made anyone that caught this illness have a fever, chills, shortness of breath, coughing, and headaches. These symptoms are similar to the flu. It was found in Asian countries with multiple cases. Many that feared of having this wore surgical masks to block of the many ways of catching this sickness. It had a global outbreak that was contained after five months of activity.
