Hetepsejemuy was the first pharaoh of the II dynasty of Egypt; reigned c. 2828-2800 B. c. Its name means "The two powers are at peace", which seems to allude to the termination of the struggles between Lower Egypt and Upper Egypt (may 12, 2828 BC – mar 10, 2800 BC)
