17 - 18 centuryThe only period named by a single person - Andrea Palladio. Caused by publishing and spread of his book I quattro libri dell'architettura. First time book full of pictures - plans, sections, elevations, facades with scale, which made it easy to read and understand than long descriptions. Revolutionary, spreaded through Europe and then America (Jefferson).
