Plague of Justinian (mar 5, 541 – mar 5, 542)

Description:

This was one of the first outbreaks of cholera ever. This pandemic greatly affected the city of Constantinople, and greatly decreased the population, possibly leading to the end of the Roman empire. In it's peak the plague killed 10,000 people in Constantople a day.
