Description:
The first Punic War was the first of three wars fought between Ancient Carthage and the Roman Republic, the two great powers of the Western Mediterranean. This is important because it was faught for land witch would lter be used in the following wars and more teritory is useful. This is important becuase in the end the conqourted Carthage and got more land.
