1861-1875: Mollie Maguires - In Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, this group was blamed for a series of revolts against poor working conditions. This group emerged due to the discrimination against Irish immigrants in the area. Eventually, the group was disbanded after an investigation by the Pinkertons, and ten members were executed in 1877.
