Time of Troubles (jan 1, 1584 – jan 1, 1613)

Description:

This 29-year period after Ivan IV' was know to be even worse that the precious Czar's rule. It was characterized with invasion from Sweden and Poland and a revolution due to peasant uprising. There were shortages of food that lead to famine and the deaths of Russian citizens due to the invasions. This period ended when Michael Romanov was appointed as Czar.
