Moses (jan 1, 1571 BC – jan 1, 1440 BC)

Description:

Moses was raised by the daughter of the pharaoh of Egypt, however was forced to flee after killing an Egyptian who was torturing a Hebrew slave. Moses fled to a place called Midian where he encountered God through a burning bush on Mount Horeb (Referred to as the Mountain of God). God told him that the Hebrew slaves in Egypt were to be liberated by Moses and brought to the "Promised Land". Moses is probably one of the most important prophets of Judaism.
