Description:
Ten days of extreme rioting in Libya. The country imposed a fee on entry to the lottery, angering citizens. The government refuses to lift the fee, further inciting riots and protests, to which the government responds to violently. Up to 50,000 people are killed in response to the riots, many of them innocents not even involved. The bloodiest event during the time of riots and protests.Added to timeline:
