Description:
Bombing campaign that escalated against Northern Vietnam
Special target was the Ho Chi Minh Trail, an elaborate network of trails, bridges, and shelters that stretched from North Vietnam through Cambodia and Laos into South Vietnam
By 1968, a million tons of bombs had fallen on North Vietnam; 2 million were dropped on the jungles of South Vietnam to flush out the Vietcong fighters
