Description:
The February Revolution occurred as a result of the dissatisfaction with the tsar in Russia. Discontent with the tsar grew because of Russia's role in WWI and the tsar's resistance to popular involvement in government. In March, violent street demonstrations occurred in Petrograd in protest.
