Spanish Conquest of Mexico (feb 1, 1519 – aug 23, 1525)
Description:
The Spanish, led by Hernán Cortés who had previously visited Mexico in order to gain valuable information on them and have an advantage in the besieging of their land, came to the land that is now known as Mexico and (pretty much) swept the ground with the natives. This caused the extinction of many native races, destroyed the previously-powerful Aztec Empire, and killed many civilians.
