Latin American Independence Wars (aug 5, 1810 – sep 27, 1830)
Description:
The Latin American Independence Wars was a series of battles spread throughout South America where said South American countries fought off the Spanish rulers. Led by Simón Bolívar, a Venezuelan military strategist, they were able to form their own independent countries and create booming economies (at some point in recent history) without the help of a mother country.
