Description:
In Birmingham, one of the most segregated cities in the US at the time, there was a non -violent movement set to create integrated jobs, public facilities, restaurants .etc
The movement led to wide-spread awareness of the Civil Rights Movement through the media coverage of the movement and also helped raise Martin Luther King Jr's reputation as he was one of the organizers.
