THe U.S. Civil War was fought in the states between the North and the South. This war was caused by the growing tension between the two side but one of the main reasons were their viewpoints on slavery; the south believed that they should beable to keep their slaves because they were the foundation of the economic system and the North felt that slavery should be abolished because we are a nation that believes that all men are created equal.Added to timeline:
