Starting with the rule of Suleiman the Magnificent and ending with the rule of Mehmed III, was a time when the empire was at its greatest overall. Although there were othe great leaders who made the Ottomans powerful outside of this period, such as Ahmed III who left the empire in great standings culturally and economically.Thanks to military conquest the Ottoman Empire became a cultural bridge between Eastern European and Middle eastern cultures.Added to timeline:
