The FLQ was a political group who used violence to get their way. They kidnapped 2 politicians, Cross and Laporte, and demanded ransom. Pierre Elliot Trudeau introduces the War Measures Act and Cross is returned after 2 months. Laporte was murdered. The FLQ was not seen again.Added to timeline:
