Reasons: In late 1533 Vasily III died. Putting the young Ivan IV in power at the age of three. The Polish–Lithuanian monarch decided to take advantage of the situation and demanded the return of territories conquered by Vasily III.
Peace Treaty: Poland and Lithuania would retook 20,000 km of land back out of the 56,000 conquered by Vasily III.
