Nazis Boycott Jewish Businesses (mar 13, 1933 – apr 1, 1933)
Description:
The Nazis target Jews by using propagandas, imprisonment, violence, and forced shopkeepers to close their businesses. Many Jews as well as non Jews wanted to boycott German goods as a response. Nazis used this as an excuse to boycott Jewish owned businesses. A witness says, "...the Nazi guards began to place themselves in front of the Jewish shops and factories, and every shopper was warned not to buy from the Jews." The Nazi Party's solution to Germany's inflation was to eliminate any non Germans, Jews included. So, from the start, Hitler has been wanting to rid the Jewish population. Now that he has the power to do so, Hitler can now put his plan into action.
