Abraham was known as the father of Jews. Abraham was the one who moved his family and others to Canaan. When famine struck and they relocated to Egypt Moses led them back to Canaan to escape Egypt. I truly believe Moses and Abraham were the ones who started Judaism.Added to timeline:
