Reign of Louis XVIII (jul 15, 1815 – sep 20, 1824)
Description:
Louis XVIII took the throne of France after the Bourbon monarchy was restored following the fall of Napoleon. Upon taking the throne, he quickly moved to establish a constitutional monarchy, with a bicameral legislative monarchy. It would be short lived however, as Napoleon returned to reclaim his throne. Shortly after getting the throne back however, Louis XVIII dissolved the legislative body he created.
