German-Soviet Non-Aggression Pact
Hitler was trying to destroy communism and the Soviet Union. Hitler tried to build up his power so he could take over Poland. In order to build up a strong military force, he made a deal with one of the leaders of the communist party: Joseph Stalin. They agreed on no wars for ten years and sharing economic levels.
Cause 1
To create peace between the two countries
Cause 2 To make the German leaders happy
Cause 3 Hitler's focus was on Poland after he had taken over Czechoslovakia.
Effect 1
Many people died
Effect 2 The pact started WW2, both sides promised not to interfere with each other in case the other went to war.
