Moroni (mar 7, 338 – sep 18, 421)
Description:
Son of Mormon and the last Nephite prophet. We are given no detail of his early life, and he is barely mentioned until the final battle at Cumorah. However, he was last record keeper, finished the record of his father, abridged the record of the Jaredites, and then wrote his own record in his last few days.
We have no information on his birth or death. Thus all I have hear is speculation based on the timeline. He was likely born when Mormon was a younger man, and so I place his birth in the year 339, making Mormon 28 when he was born.
However, I do not actually claim the date I give is his death. I don't know if he died or was later translated, and I know of nothing to clarify this. So, I place only the last date that we know he was alive on the earth, being about a year after hiding up the plates, or the year 422.
