Description:
The Mughal Dynasty ruled over northern India. Despite being a Muslim dynasty, the Mughals tolerated the majority-Hindu population and allowed them to practice their religion in peace. During the Mughal dynasty, trade within India and overseas flourished, allowing for India’s economy to flourish. The Mughals had a very successful economy, allowing them to build an extensive road system and support building public works.
