Nephi III (oct 19, 9 – jul 2, 110)
Description:
Son of Nephi II, he kept the records after his father. He was a righteous man and a prophet. We are not given any information regarding him or his ministry.
We know he kept the record, but we do not know if he followed his father as one of the 12 disciples (though he does tell us that other men were so ordained after the original 12 died).
We are told that he died in the year 110, but are not told when he was born. Give the life of his father, we can make an estimate.
I list him as being born the year AD 9, when his father was 35. This means he was 25 when during Christ's visit, and 37 when his father died and he took the record.
As he died in 110, he was 101 years old at his death.
