Heian Period (sep 9, 794 – feb 12, 1185)

Description:

The period is named after the capital city of Heian-kyō. It is the last period of classical Japan. A series of rebellions led to the downfall of the period. Some innovations that occurred during the Heian period were the Tokugawa shogunate, Buddhism spread, and beauty standards changed. This relates to 3.2 because the Heian was a state form.
