Charlotte Corday (jul 27, 1768 – jul 17, 1793)
Description:
Corday was descended from a noble family; consequently, she shared royalist sentiments. She is most known for the assassination of French revolutionary Jean-Paul Marat. She was arrested after the incident and tried and convicted the Revolutionary Tribunal. She was guillotined on July 17, 1793.
