Description:
During this period in Japan, Buddhism, Taoism, and other Chinese influences were at their height. The court in Japan incorporated what they had learned from China and expanded it into a uniquely Japanese culture. This time is known as the Golden Age of Japan. Japan was at its peak in imperial court, art, poetry, and literature under the rule of the Fujiwara family.
