Description:

January 1993-2001-During the Clinton Presidential terms, a lot of things were done for the country. Despite facing impeachment later on during the second term do to inappropriate relations with White House intern Monica Lewinsky, the impact that Clinton had on foreign relations, the American economy, and women in the workforce was major. He passed bills such as the Family and Medical Leave Act and the Violence against women act. Additionally, he fought for health care insurance for all Americans, but he was met with large conservative opposition so that failed. Clinton hired many women and minorities into political positions of power including the very famous Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg (Notorious RBG) and Janet Reno.
