Description:

When Louis XVI succeeded to the French throne in 1774, he was immature and lacked in self-confidence. Later during his rule it became obvious that he sufficient strength in character and decisiveness to effectively rule. Louis XVI was put on trial and found guilty by the National Convention and guillotined.
