Life of Enheduanna (jan 1, 2285 BC – dec 31, 2250 BC)

Description:

Time period during which Enheduanna, daughter of Sargon the Great, is thought to have lived. She resided in the southern Sumerian city of Ur. During her lifetime she served several Akkadian kings as High Priestess of Inanna, Sumerian goddess of love and Nanna, god of the Moon.

Enheduanna was also a highly influential poet whose works were kept alongside royal inscriptions - in cities outside Akkad - for hundreds of years. She is the earliest author in history whose name is known.
