Description:

The Victorian era in Britain lasted during Queen Victoria's time on the British throne from 1837 to 1901, overlapping with "la belle epoche". Political reforms occurred during the Victorian period, with the UK establishing a more democratic country. The Reform Act 1832 was a parliamentary act in the UK. By increasing the number of voters to about 813,000 adult men, making one fifth of the male population eligible to vote.
