Description:
The Harlem Renaissance brought African-American culture into the realm of the public for one of the very first times in history. The development essentially came from the neighborhood of Harlem, which is located in Manhattan, New York. It was an African-American cultural mecca that resulted in social and artistic explosion within the nation within the early twentieth century. This “golden” era for African-American culture blossomed with manifesting in literature, music, stage performance, and art. The Harlem Renaissance is specifically known for the development and popularity of jazz music.
