Lincoln Presidency (mar 4, 1861 – apr 15, 1865)
Description:
Abraham Lincoln was the sixteenth president of the United States. He began Reconstruction after the Civil War and signed the Thirteenth Amendment, liberating all slaves in the South. Following the end of the war, Lincoln wanted to reunite the country as quickly as possible, so he made the readmission process fairly easy and forgiving for Southern states.
