Shiblon (oct 5, 116 BC – jun 5, 53 BC)
Description:
Son of Alma the younger and a very righteous man.
He grew up during his father's rebellion and would have been about 20 at the time the angel appeared to Alma. We are given no indication that he took park in the rebellion. However, he was fully converted to the gospel, whether by his father's conversion or at some other time.
He is first mentioned in connection with the mission to the Zoramites, in which he took an active part, even being stone at one point for his words.
However, little else is said of him. He did continue faithful and preached the word diligently at all times.
When his brother, Helaman, died, Shiblon took custody of the sacred records. When he died a few years later he gave them to Helaman's son, also called Helaman.
He died in the year 53, and as he was younger than his brother Helaman, we can estimate his age.
I list him here being born in 116, making him 63 when he died.
