Mexican-American War (apr 26, 1846 – feb 2, 1848)

Description:

War fought between The United States and Mexico after a border dispute and the annexation of Texas. The war ended in an American victory and Mexico losing much of its territory in modern day California, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico, Arizona, and parts of Colorado. This war came from the idea of Manifest Destiny and showed that Americans would not stop to take land that they wanted.
