King Laman (aug 12, 242 BC – nov 7, 168 BC)
Description:
The King of the Lamanites when Zeniff and his people returned to the Land of Nephi.
He was the king that gave Zeniff the land of Nephi and the Land of Shilom. Twelve years later he led the Lamanites to attack the people of Zeniff.
When he was beaten he made an oath with Zeniff and never again tried to attack his people.
We are given an approximate time for his death, but nothing else. Thus all my dates are estimated guesswork.
I list him here mainly to show the immediate ancestry of King Lamoni, who appears later in the record.
