Description:
Said to have started with the publication of the Ninety-five Theses by Martin Luther in 1517- The Reformation was time when people began to go against the hierarchy of the church. The TYRANNY OF THE MINORITY was recognized and people began to oppose the ABSOLUTISM and DESPOTISM that the MONARCHY had instilled. People then sought for the power of the individual to be recognized and essentially desired a more REPUBLIC approach to their societies.Added to timeline:
