Ether (apr 22, 1941 BC – dec 23, 250 BC)

The period of time covered in the book of Ether.
The Book of Ether was abridged by Moroni from a record kept by the prophet Ether, of the Jaredites. Ether seems to have been the principle author of the record that Moroni abridged, and thus likely abridged a good portion of it himself from other records.
The exact dates are not known. However, as the record begins with the tower of Babel we can estimate its beginning to be around 1941 BC (as that is when the Tower of Babel event occurred, as calculated from the dates provided in the Bible).
As to the conclusion, we know that Coriantumr, the last king of the Jaredites, lived long enough to be found by the people of Zarahemla, thus we can estimate that the record in the book ended between 300 and 250 BC.
